Hexcel is a global leader in advanced composites technology and a trusted partner to the aerospace and defense industries, with operations spanning Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. For more than a decade, Hexcel has partnered with LRN to elevate its ethics and compliance program, modernizing training content and delivery, building an employee-focused, user-friendly platform, and gaining the ability to regularly assess its ethical culture.
Before working with LRN, Hexcel’s ethics and compliance program needed modernization on several fronts. The company wanted to update its Code of Conduct, training curriculum, and policies, while making the overall program more employee-focused and easier to use. At the same time, Hexcel faced challenges in driving engagement with ethics and compliance resources and lacked the volume and type of data needed to understand its ethical culture and measure it on a regular basis. The organization was looking for a way to refresh content, improve delivery, and gain deeper insight into how its program was performing.
To address these needs, Hexcel implemented several LRN solutions: Inspire Library training courses, Catalyst Design for course editing, and the E&C Culture Assessment. Inspire Library gave Hexcel access to a wide range of courses across key risk areas and in multiple languages, while Catalyst Design allowed the team to customize those courses with Hexcel’s own branding, design elements, and organization-specific content. The E&C Culture Assessment provided a structured way to gather data and feedback from employees, enabling Hexcel to better understand the nature of its issues and opportunities for improvement. Together, these tools supported the design of an employee-centric program that was easier to navigate and more closely aligned with Hexcel’s values and goals.
Hexcel’s partnership with LRN delivered transformative results across its ethics and compliance program. Modernized, customized training content led to higher learner engagement and improved completion rates, helping to embed ethical awareness throughout the organization. The broader program became more effective and technologically up to date, with increased internal awareness of ethics and compliance initiatives. Through the E&C Culture Assessment, Hexcel gained actionable insights that helped strengthen its “speak-up” culture and reduce risk.
“We have used the culture assessments/surveys to understand the nature of our issues and our opportunities for improvement. The surveys have been instrumental in helping us upgrade our processes and build more employee friendly aspects into our program.”
