It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and LRN is proud to celebrate the inherent value of diverse and inclusive workforces and the contributions workers with disabilities make every day.
Now more than ever, companies must focus on the accessibility of their products, services, and environments, accounting for impairments ranging from vision, hearing, physical and motor skills, and learning and literacy.
Accessibility is important to LRN, and enabling it across our platform and courses has allowed us to go one step further in ensuring that our Partners can deliver the right knowledge, at the right time, to the right people.
This year we concluded a platform-wide effort to make our HTML5 Courses and LRN Catalyst® fully accessible and in compliance with Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act and the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG AA). Now, all individuals, regardless of abilities, will be able to complete their ethics and compliance training requirements.
These accessibility features address visual, hearing, and motor differences and are built into our courses—using them requires no additional effort on the part of administrators.
