On October 26th, Elliott Masie’s Learning 2014 conference kicked off in Orlando, Florida. Almost 1,700 people converged on the event to discuss and learn about a vast range of learning and development topics.
Elliott Masie himself described the event as “an intense three-and-a-half days of engagement, content, context, community, entertainment, friendship, challenges and new experiences!”
Interactive Services and Thomson Reuters presented on the future of blended learning on Tuesday, October 28th in our session, “Blended Learning 2015: How Will Your Blend Change?” We had an impressive attendance with a total of 68 people in attendance.
Sharon Kaliouby, our featured guest speaker from Thomson Reuters, presented Thomson Reuters’ Pre-boarding program as a case study in successful blended learning deployment. Our own Paul Kelly, supported by Gabriel Szaszko, then led the presentation to explore our research findings around:
The presentation also incorporated a “Family Feud”-style game element that allowed our participants to answer important questions about blended learning trends including social and community learning, return on investment and gamification.
Our audience proved highly interactive and engaged throughout the session, asked provocative questions, and provided insightful feedback about their experiences and perspectives.
