This spring, LRN launched community roundtables, a knowledge exchange bringing together our partner community. The interactive roundtables build around peer to peer best practices, industry experiences and shared insights.
As the regulatory bar gets higher for US Corporations, organizational behavior and strategies to influence and shape workforce culture has become a top priority for business leaders. On March 23rd, LRN hosted a roundtable in Hartford, CT to discuss HOWto avoid the blind spots, exploring HOWpeer companies are refocusing the hallmarks of effective programs with their bottom line goals and objectives. Participants joined the interactive dialogue from a spectrum of industries including Mass Mutual, Hexcel, United Technologies Corporation, The Hartford, Willis Towers Watson, BD and The Travelers Companies. The discussion balanced several threads including culture realignment challenges post M&A, education engagement with shorter burst and micro learning communities, marketing core compliance and ethics messages across a global footprint against a backdrop of conflicting regional business norms and more! Program assessment, including strategies around effectively tracking and measuring impact, was a common need, where participants shared and learned about peer best practices. Throughout the dialogue, an emergent theme centered around the role of leaders from the top down through the middle. A key takeaway from the session was around scaling ethical organizational culture, by placing a spotlight around regional and local leaders to assume visible accountability to develop, model and shepherd ethical behavior. We look forward to hosting future roundtables in the near term.
